Connect a Google Form to Silk

With Silk’s Google Sheets Sync, it has become very easy to connect a Google Form to your Silk. This lets visitors submit information directly to your Silk without the need for them to create a Silk account.

Note: If you want to use another form provider than Google Forms, you can use an automation tool like IFTTT or Zapier to connect that form to your Google Sheet.

Step 1: Add a Form to your Sheet

In your Google Sheet, click ‘Tools’ and select ‘Create a form’.

Step 2: Edit the Form

Now edit your form. Add a question for each column in your Sheet. You can use many different forms of questions (like dropdowns, options, and so on), and you can mark questions as ‘Required’.

Step 3: Test the Form

Next, select ‘Preview’ on top of the form and fill it in. Go back to your Sheet and check if everything looks fine.

Step 4: Set up Google Sheets Sync in Silk

If you haven’t already, set up Google Sheets Sync so that every new entry in your Sheet gets automatically imported into your Silk.

Step 5: Spread the Form link and see your Silk get updated

You can now pass along the Form link any way you like. You can put it on a website, or share the link via email or social media. The Form link is not indexed by Google by default.
